Quest for quality
While it may not be the first thing that enters physicians' minds, one of the keys to victory in the quality health care game is prevention. Fortunately, numerous state programs are available to help create systems that detect and prevent the ravages of chronic illnesses such as diabetes, cancer, and cardiovascular disease.
